Chromatin Regulation
Research in the Laboratory of Chromatin Regulation focuses on studying how chromatin and epigenetic mechanisms influence gene expression. We actively study dosage compensation of the X chromosome as model system in Drosophila melanogaster. A new direction of research has been to explore evolutionary conservation in mammals.
